I know they sya that you are supposed to tip your Maitre'd $3-5 per person. But if you do th math.....$3 x 175 = $525! I really dont understand how people tip their maitre'd this much money!! All of the wedings Ive ever been to, Ive never seen a maitre'd do anything worth a $525 tip! Or anything near that! What are your girls views on this?

remember your maitre d does alot of work! they are with you from the day you book to the end of your wedding day. They make sure everyone is doing their jobs and everything runs smoothly. I think that is reasonable considering how much work they are doing! you dont HAVE to do 3-5.....if you have 300 guests thats alot. i wount give them any less than $300. im prob gonna give mine about 4 cause he is friggin awesome!!

I always thought $50-100 depending on the service would cover it. I mean do you really have to tip what they recommend? Are you ever going to see this perosn again or need their services again? I know...Im so cheap.![]()

we are probably gonna do 400 cause scott and steve are both wonderful. im not sure which one will be my metrd but either one is good
