Re: Is this reasonable
I think it's a lot of money for a couple of hours worth of work that will require minimal editing.
We spent a little more then twice that and had video coverage for 10 hours including an extra videographer for the ceremony.

$700 just for the church? Will the videographer be coming to your house to do the getting ready shots? If not then $700 is too pricey for an hour worth of work

Re: Is this reasonable
I think that is a lot also. I got some high prices for ceremony only with no editting (just raw footage) - keep on looking. If i find a normal price i'll let you know.

I think it depends on how their work is.

Re: Is this reasonable
Most places will not just tape the ceremony- the want a full day's work. So $700 is fair IMO but it also depends on their work and what you are getting. If it is just a guy with a low-end video camera hanging around and pointing the camera then I would not pay him one penny. But if it is a reputable video company, with the proper sound and video equipment and you will get an editted professional tape then I would.

Well, it's the videographer who works with my photographer. I'm assuming he's professional It includes 3 VHS tapes. What do you think?
