Is this reasonable? (Shower Invites)

Hi,

I just compiled the bridal shower invite list and it has 50 people (5 more could easily be added)! Our wedding will have 230ish people...

20 are relatives (parents, aunts, 1st cousins)
30 are friends/coworkers

10 of these probably won't make it (courtesy invites) because they are out of town but close friends...

Is this too many? I don't want to burden anyone...

PS -I forgot to mention the FMIL is having a satellite shower for all of her invited friends (about 30). Which I am very happy about so I can meet and get to know all the people I don't know separately before the big day!

That is definitely reasonable. I sent out 90 invitations for my best friend's shower last summer.

That sounds right. I had 70 and my guest list is about 305.

Totally reasonable. My list has 40 people for my shower.
