so i e-mailed my band about something and i get a phone call telling me that they've made some changes to the band and that i was going to be so excited well -they REPLACED one of the band members i wouldn't have minded except for the fact that the guy they replaced was the reason why i booked the band i loved him, and now he's gone-and what really bothers also is if i never e-mailed themabout something totally unrelated they would have never even told me sorry just had to vent what can i do? and so the problems begin

wow ..i'd be upset also! i would definately discuss this with them..did they include all the band members on your contract? if they did you have the right to get who was originally booked for your day

Is it to late to get your deposit. Tell them you dont want them unless they get the person who you requested in the first place.

Ugh that is absolutely terrible! I am so sorry to hear that!! I would ask them if you can hear them play with the replaced band member. Hopefully you still enjoy their sound and are not disappointed!

Ohhhhh well check your contract. What does it state? Thats not right. I requested a certain singer from my band as well, and goodness forbid something happens, all hell is going to break loose

as i said in another post and i think its the same band...
it specifically says at teh bottom of the contract if the contract is broken for illness, sickness, emergency, or acts of god FINE...
if they break contract with anyone thats ON the contract, you ahve every right to solve this in a court of law.

this happened to me kinda however, after the emailed me the contract, i wrote the band members names on it one guy did leave, but they said he was fulfilling his obligations for the gigs they already had booked up until he decided to leave

its not the same band bc PEPE and i are getting married hte same day haha!!
but i did speak to FW today...he said michael is iffy bc he is trying to move. jill sometimes gets sick and cant make a show...great!
