My friend booked a hair/make up person for her wedding. She has since decided to go another route (cheaper) and wants to switch vendors. She's not getting married until December and didn't put any money down.
What do you think?

I don't think it's rude....as long as she cancels with the person.

I dont think it is rude either - if your friend cancelled a week before (or even a month) then I would think i twas rude.

I don't think it's rude...espcially since the wedding is so far away. People cancel appointments all the time, you gotta do what's right for you and your budget.

I don't think its rude, I did the same thing, however, I'm still being charged cuz I was over the 10 days or so to cancel.

Re: Is this rude?
Sorry but I can't even begin to understand how it could be seen as rude.
*shrug*
Nope I don't think it's rude.
Especially knowing how hard it is to book hair/makeup around here. There's a reason it's so expensive, it's because they CAN charge that much, supply & demand.

same here. You're not obligated to use any vendor. If you find someone else you like better, you have every right to hire them.

If I changed my church, you can change your make-up person.
Just do it early so other peopel have the opportunity to book her.
