My FH Uncle Vito is coming from Italy for our wedding and he asked FH if he can be the best man. FH already asked his HS best friend. Would it be rude to tell him he is being demoted to groomsman. FH and his Uncle are 7 years apart, even though he lives in Italy they have always been very close and visit each other often. There is always a 'cross in the road'..Very frustrating.

Re: Is this rude?
the real question should be 'who ASKS to be someones best man??'
I mean if he was that close with his uncle he should have asked him...
but reguardless, 2 BMs are fine, we are havng both of FHs brothers as Best Men
