Is this strange

Would it be strange if I went dress shopping by myself???

I have been to so many places and tried on so many dresses and still haven't found the dress of my dreams.

I shop better by myself in general
I swear i'm not a loser lol I have people to go with

But is is weird to try on dresses by myself??

NOT AT ALL!!! The first time I went shopping for dresses was by myself. My whole family lives in NY and I'm in PA. There was no one here I wanted to bring so I went by myself. It was great not to have people shouting out opinions and 'ooh'ing and ahh'ing'. I went alone so I had a clear head - it really helped give me a true idea of what I really liked and didn't like without being swayed by the opinions of my loved ones.

Nope not at all. My coworker did it once. I thought about doing it... but ultimately my mom wants to be there. i kinda think i want to try it alone but i know i can't not bring my mom. ha ha.. but i see nothing wrong with it. go for it!

oh good...i want to go tomorrow during the day and i had this vision that people would look at me like i'm nuts

i actually am a little nuts...almost at 8 month mark and I dont have a dress!!!

but i'm also one of those people who can't eat alone in a public place

i'm going to do it though

Absolutely not!! I went to a sample sale by myself and to be honest, I got some great opinions from other people there and they were honest!

I don't think so...I want to go by myself to try my dress on for the first time since it's came in in a few weeks, but my mom won't let me I guess she needs to be there, she's paying haha...but I can understand where you're coming from.

NOT AT ALL!!! I actually found MY DRESS when I was alone lol Im the type of person that either loves it or hates it. I didnt want anyone having an opinion and feeding me negative opinions if it was something that I really liked. After I decided it was THE DRESS, I went back with family and friends.

Yeah not at all . in some ways its nicer b/c you can take ALL THE TIME you want and not feel like anyone is getting bored or wanting you to hurry and you can come back when you need/want an opinion.

hi Jen! :) I went dress shopping alone once and actually had a lot of fun; I went during the week and was the only one in the shop with the consultant.
