I am getting married at the Port Jeff Country Club....which is really called Lombardi's on the Sound at The Port Jefferson Country Club.
But I don't like having it that way on my invite...so I spoke to the receptionist there and she said I can word it The Port Jefferson Country Club at Lombardi's on the Sound.
Is this stupid and snooty? Does anyone agree? YOu can be brutaly honest! Thanks

i think it sounds better the first way. can you do just one part of the name or do you have to include both parts?

Ok my dumb question of the day, what does the sign say when you go there? Will it confuse people one way or the other? I like it the way you want to say it, and thought The Port Jefferson Country Club at Lombardi's on the Sound sounds nicer.
