MY FH wants to know if it's tacky to have a polaroid camera that will take pictures of us and the guests so they have a picture of us with them at the wedding. Tell me what you think. Be honest!

I think it's funny actually. I was laughing so much my FH was like, what the hell are you doing!! Is your wedding formal or what? I would say for an informal wedding sure why not.. but not for a formal !! -Jennifer

Re: Is this tacky?
Is there a reason he wants a polaroid? We basically managed to get our pictures w/ everyone there, couples, families etc.. but off of the table cameras and the professional photographer. Between those 2, we got them all. (Plus, there will be a few people you won't care to have your pictures with. Not to sound rude, but this happened w/ me. My Mom wanted to invite some of her business people, I didn't care about 1/2 of them. His parents invited some of the people they work with- I could care less about them. I didn't want them there in the first place.) Not sure if that helps ya, but perhaps there's a way around having your time taken up w/ the polaroid camera?

I think he figured that in addition to the thank you's they could go home with a picture of us.

it's a cute idea... but I would not want a polariod camera at the wedding b/c you will have to spend time just taking pics instead of mingling and dancing...JMO

I don't know how many guests you're planning on having, but if it's a lot you're going to spend more than half of your night posing for polaroids. In theory I like the idea, I just don't think it will work, you'll miss half of your wedding.
