Just to clarify, I am not planning on sending out iINVITES to just the church and not the reception. THAT would be tacky
....when fall2005bride and i were talking earlier and she asked me if it was tacky to invite people to the church and not the reception, I was under the assumption we were only referring to co-workers and that it would be something like. 'Hey guys, the church is in the evening so if you aren't doing anything, feel free to come. Most of my co-workers are nice people and understand that we are paying for our weddings ourselves and can't afford to invite everyone......
I know some people might find it tacky, and some wouldnt mind at all. In fact, our previous supervisor invited all of us to the church when he got married and no one was offended and a few of us actually went to see him get hitched....
I just wanted to clarify it on my end, because I would never have posted this question on here to begin with......and I didn't notice that Fall2005bride posted this on here with reference to me....
