i'm having my invites custom made by my friend who is a graphic designer b/c i just couldnt get what i wanted any other way... she suggested I use a post card for our response cards, I love the idea no envelopes to open, no problems with the postage and size issues.. is it to informal? the other side would be our monogram? our wedding is a daytime weddig, not as if I'm having a black tie event. I really want to do this, but I need feedback, thanks ladies!

i have seen this idea more and more and with the postage increase it might be cheaper... i think it is a good idea and is still unique!

I don't think it's tacky at all. I do think it's less formal, but that's not necessarily a bad thing!

I don't think it's tacky at all - in fact that's what I was going to do... UNTIL I found out that quite a few people that I sent my STD postcards to didn't receive them!!!! So there's no way I'd trust postcards for my RSVP's now. I'm doing mine with envelopes for that reason.
