so i am making decisions on limos right now and me and fh had an idea, but i cant decide if its too tacky or not. (which is where i need YOU!) we would have a 10 person limo pick up the GM bring them to the church than have the limo pick up the BM and me to the church. After the reception the limo would be used for me and FH to get to the reception. Then we were thinking about renting a Coach Bus! Have it pick up the several guests we have staying at a hotel bring them to the church then after the ceremony have the bridal party take that to the reception. and after the reception the coach bus can take us all to my after party.
What do we think about this?

I don't think it's tacky, but I'm wondering about logistics:
Will you be stopping anywhere for photos between the ceremony and reception? If so, will you have your bridal party there for photos, too? If not, then I don't see any problems.

I was wondering the same thing, pictures could become an issue if you are taking them between church and reception
But otherwise I don't see an issue at all

I've been to a bunch of weddings where they did this!!
They had limos for the ceremony, then everyone headed back to the hotel, hung around the bar for a bit, and jumped on a coach bus with other guests that were staying at the hotel...no problems, no one offended or even thought anything of it!

We Had a 22 pasenger Escalade pick up The GM drop them off, then come get the all of us girls and My Parents.. After we got married, the whole bridal Party got in together and went for pictures. I think it worked out great!!! My parents had their car dropped off at the church and they met us at the RH..

I think thats a great idea, We did something similar, the only thing is FH's dad had a pick up for me and I was late, the guy had another job to do and was going to be late for that since I wasnt ready. But if you have one limo driver for the whole day thats fine

That is what I did.....Well the Bridal Party came in the limo with us so we can all be together but our other guests took the bus and we all took it back to the hotel. Its fine.

Do you have a long time in between the ceremony and CH.....if so then your guests will be at the RH too early or your bridal party will not be there for pictures until the guests get there....
I thinks it a fine idea if the timing logistics work.

I think its fine... We might do do something similar since we are having the ceremony and reception at the same place.
