What is the average price for photographer/videographer? Does $6000 sound expensive?

it depends ....
how many hours are you getting them for? is it just one photographer? how many albums / cds / dvds does the package include?

Epics? albums? do you own the rights to the pictures? how many pictures? how many photogs? how many hours?

like the other girls said it depends..but after meeting with 3 photographers I have to say that sounds about right assuming you're getting 2 photographers and 1 videographer!

that sounds expensive to me i think you can get it lower negotiate it !!
ETA: i just wanted to let you know i didnt mean that it sounds rude now that i re read it... i just meant that i was quoted near that price and negotiated a little and got a better price

mine is right around that. and i got: 60pics in album 2 parent albums 1 16X20 2 8X10's 5x7 for all brides maids a mini book all my proofs hard copy and DVD 1 reg photographer 1 photojournalist photographer 1 videorapher edited video 3 dvds of it. and free engagement pics 100 proffs and 3 pics can remember size Is this comparable to yours?

I got this quote from a person that used the photographer/videographer I was considering. I'll have to find out the details. But I do know its just one photographer and one videographer. I'll have to call and find out the packages and the amount of time. Thanks girls!
