Hi Okay so I have to say I feel that I got a lot acomplished this weekend. FH and I went out to Long Island and we booked our officiant, our DJ, and my mom & I went to order my dress!! Now FH and I went to James Cress Florist and heres what I got quoted, please tell me if you think this is too much or not?? I had no idea flowers would cost this much.
1 Bride Bouquet
3 Bm's Bouquet
1 Moh Bouquet
Groom bouteniere.
Bm '
3 Ushers
Flower girl basket of rose petals
2 corsages.
Gazebo pc of flowers
10-12 high centerpieces
all for $4000.00-$5000.00 roughly
Too much or no??????????
Keep in mind they are all roses for everything, Fall color roses....Thank you......

it sounds kind of high to me but then again it may be the gazebo thats causing teh price to go up - im not sure how much that usually costs

Depends are they back to back roses because that cost alot for CP's . It sees high. I originally wanted back to back roses no green and they were really expensive.

I agree, it sounds high. Find out how much $$ they are charging you for the high centerpieces and you will get a better idea.

OMG..... u need to run..... I have a 24 person Bridal ALONE annd my total is nowhere near those price....... RUNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!

I think that sounds way too high, I am having Japanese flowers flown in and I am not paying that much!!!!!! and I am getting more... I think you should keep looking.

sounds very high.......... I would suggest to check out an additional vendor.. Flowers by Burton quoted me $3k for the same amount of stuff for low centerpieces.. maybe 3500 for high?

that sounds correct to me. I assume that the majority is the gazebo. People not having a gazebo or huppa don't understand the complexity of it. I'm having a hupp and that alone is $1K.

James Cress tends to a high end florist, meaning they do great work but charge in the high end! Check out M and F florist in East Islip. Talk to Maggie she had outrageous highg centerpeices in her book. She is not a vendor on here, yet, but she is the florist for all of Lessings

I went to James Cress as well, and they quoted me a price that was about $1000 higher than other florists.
If you really want a good price, go to a flower giant like Burtons. They do a ton of weddings so they're prices are lower.
We went with Lovin Oven Floral Design. Keyth was so helpful and really worked with our budget.
James Cress qouted $4600, we're paying $2200 with Lovin Oven.

of course it depends on the size of the centerpieces, but that sounds pretty high to me....
for that price, it should be orchids!
im using orchids and it still wasnt that much!!
