Hi Okay so I have to say I feel that I got a lot acomplished this weekend. FH and I went out to Long Island and we booked our officiant, our DJ, and my mom & I went to order my dress!! Now FH and I went to James Cress Florist and heres what I got quoted, please tell me if you think this is too much or not?? I had no idea flowers would cost this much.
1 Bride Bouquet 3 Bm's Bouquet 1 Moh Bouquet
Groom bouteniere. Bm ' 3 Ushers
Flower girl basket of rose petals
2 corsages.
Gazebo pc of flowers
10-12 high centerpieces
all for $4000.00-$5000.00 roughly
Too much or no??????????
Keep in mind they are all roses for everything, Fall color roses....Thank you......

that sounds ridiculously high in my opinion.....
i got my bo-k, 5 BM bo-k, all the GMs flowers, a nosegay for my mom, bouttennaires for dads, gerandpa, etc., tons of corsages for people doing readings, music, etc. and 2 church pieces.....all for a little less than $600.00
you are getting less than that.... and then they want about $4,000 for 10-12 centerpieces... that's like $350.00 a centerpiece. WAY TOO HIGH

I'm not sure, but here is mine: Bride 5 BM 5 groomsmen 1 grandfather 2 mothers bouquet for Blessed Mother throw bouquet 2 church centerpieces rose petals for FG $700.00....
I didn't get centerpieces for the RH, I am making my own...

Roses are actually cheap as far as flowers go, so don't let your florist snow you on that. I don't know if that's a good price, I'm not going with a florist, I'm doing my own flowers, but I do know that roses are so common they're not expensive, unless you're going with some really rare variety. Or unless you're getting married right around Valentine's Day, when they jack up the prices of roses 500%, at least.

I ordered a little more and am paying about $2600. I think it is a little high. You may want to shop around a little more.

This does sound high, I would recommend shopping around a little bit more.
1 bridal bouquet (about 32-36 roses) 2 MOH bouquets (26-28 roses) 3 BM bouquets (24 roses) 12 bouts (single rose) 7 corsages 15 high centerpieces (40 roses and some greens) chuppah and chuppah flowers flower girl petals and basket Aisle and table petals

That's definitely way too high!! I have a few more BM's and 15 high CP's- and it's costing me half that through Flower Michelle.
Make an appointment with John at Flower Michelle, or Mike at Flower Barn (Seaford)- they both gave me great prices!!

That does sound like an awful lot..roses are NOT an expensive flower, and it does not seem like you have that many flowers to get...try fleurafina!

I am using only roses, cream, oceana, and a pale peach (getting married in fall) I have my bouquet 2 moh bouquet 4 bm's 4 corsages our mothers and 2 grandmas 10 bouteniors 6 men in party 2 dads 2 granspas 15 centerpieces bouquet for virgin mary statue in church decorating outside of my house and 2 flower girl baskets

I guess it's a little high, but I think that's how much we're paying. We also have a chuppah that's included and they decorate it with tons of flowers.

of course it depends on the size of the centerpieces, but that sounds pretty high to me....
