gorgeous dress.... it all depends on you... if you're the bride and you love it, then go for it! nothing is ever too much!

It doesn't look like it'll be too comfortable to move or dance in.

I really love the color. You think it could get bustled so they don't trip? It seems pretty long.

That dress is abousolutely fantastic. But it may compete with your bridal gown. After all it is your day. The focus should be on you.

I agree- that's another thing! I feel like it almost looks like a bridal dress if it were in white, right?

That's what I was gonna say... maybe without the train it would be more fitting?

The dress is beautiful. But I agree with what some other people have mentioned. I wouldn't want it to compete with your gown.

At the hips, right? It looks loose around the hip area.

IMO, its way too big for a BM dress. Your dress should stand out and it may get lost when its surrounded by a bunch of those dresses/

That dress looks more like a bridal gown-esque to me. I think it would def compete with your wedding gown. And it really does not look comfortable to be in all night.
You should be able to find that wine color elsewhere.

I think it looks more like a MOB dress than BM.

Re: Is this too much for a bridesmaid dress?
i love it but would get ride of the train, you dont want your bms to outshine you.
but where would you find it cheap enough for a bridesmaid dress?? the only thing i could thing of is ABS dresses, ythey usually do knockoffs of oscar dresses, but still those would prob be 300 and up.

Re: Is this too much for a bridesmaid dress?
My bridesmaid dresses were wedding dresses that we customized so they looked more like BM dresses. My dress was huge so since they were mermaid-ish with bubble hems they still looked like BM dresses.
I think that the red dress you posted is a beautiful dress!!!!! But agree with the others to get rid of the train.

I was thinking the same thing. It is gorgeous, but you don't want it to outshine your dress
