My brother's friend quoted me 1500 for the following: New 2006 Infitnti truck (seats 22) Chrysler 300M (Seats 10) both for 4 hours Pick up after reception (must tip driver 50.00) and drop off next day to the airport (must tip driver 50.00)
My FI thinks that it is not a deal but since this is the only place we have gone to we have nothing to compare it to... can anyone help?

i worked at a limo company a few years ago, and those prices are good if the grat is included.

i paid $1200 and am getting an excursion (seats 16-18) and a 6 passenger limo for 3 hours - they also gave us a free limo to take us anywhere on LI/NYC after the wedding - this includes open bar aisle runner etc.
I'd say shop around just to compare but i think thats around average cost for limos for weddings these days. I shopped around alot and 1200- 1500 is what i was quoted.
Make sure you review the company on here and BBB before booking to find out peoples experiences - there are some bad businesses out there.

We went to Royalty this weekend and he quoted me $1400 for 2 identical mercedes s600's for 3.5 hours, and a car to pick us up after the reception and bring us to our hotel. i thought that was alittle steep, but it include the 20% gratuity and taxes I believe. What do you girls think?

i have an appt w/ manny from royalty tonight
and an appt w/ bobby from legend limo
we shall see.. they are all around the same price.. give or take $100, $200
ok final we got 2 escalades & 1 1939 caddy from manny for 3100 but w/ massive OT

Exactly, most I found we priced differently by a couple of hundred, but you'll be paying in that area for any type of specialty cars.

I found the only way to keep costs lower is to go with basic lincoln strech limos, not as flashy, but way cheaper.

most of the reason for the major price is for the amount of over time.. everywhere is have to do like 4 hours of overtime on each car

While we are on the limo subject, what does a limo package include i.e. champagne etc? What do I need to look for in a good limo company? I only looked at one so far because my dad knows the man and he has a very small company and told my dad that he would give us either a brand new hummer or escalade for $800. I only want to do one big limo to cut down costs, does the price he gave my dad sound reasonable?

That sounds standard for a base price- if it includes tax and tip that's a good deal. I'm tipping my limo guy a little more in person tho b/c I don't think they see the tip built into the price, which is wrong but whatever.
