FH and I want to honor our reletives who have passed away (all of our grandparents and my uncle) so I pieced together a few poems from ones I found on here. Is this too sad to have in a frame next to the vase that will have 9 roses in it?

I plan on having a similar poem on the back of our programs as a memorial to my brother, he passed away last year. I don't think it's too sad, I think it's kind of sweet, and it passed the 'mom' test. She thought it was a beautiful.

I don't think that it is too sad, I think that it is perfect. I am using a similar poem on my program and on a memorial candle that I am making.

Thats the same poem we are using for FH's Grandpa's Memorial candle...I think its bittersweet!

Awe thanks guys! This is so important to us. My diamond was my grandmothers mothers (my GREAT grandmother) and she gave it to me 2 weeks before she passed away. It will be 2 years this July 19th

Our memory candle was very similar to that......I think no matter what you put on it its going to be sad. I think you should go with that poem though its really a good one.
