All my girls got fitted for their BM dresses. The very last one that got fitted was on Saturday and the lady that works there said they will order them Monday, and to call back on like Weds or so to double check..so I forgot and called them today.. the lady on the phone was very nice, and when I asked them if they placed the order she said yes, and I said ok well how long would it take and she said she wouldnt know for another 2 weeks because the designer or company w.e, would notify them on exactly when the dresses were arriving, at which time she would let me know. Is this how it works? I dunnoo.. Thanks!

I don't think that's unusual... but then again I just ordered mine two days ago.

yes that sounds normal. when i ordered my bm dresses they said if i called later that week they could give me an arrival date. i'm sure the order has to be processed and what not and the designer can then assess the time it will take to get them shipped out

Yeah, the designers don't cut the dresses as they get the orders, they have set days on the calendar that they do all the 'cutting' for all their orders up to that point. So your dress store has to find out from the designer when the next 'cut date' is then they can predict from there when they will be shipped to the store.
