so fh and i went to dinner lst night.. after spending the afternoon looking a houses.. so i brought my leftovers home from dinner.. some jerk chicken and some rice and peas..
this morning i got up and ran a few errands thinking wow when i get home i'll eat.. and it'll be soo good.. and ....
it's not there.
fh ate it. fh WILL be bringing me some home for dinner tonight..
can i just tell ya'll i'm pissed!

That sounds just about right - yes... If I want to be sure FH doesn't eat something I want - I make a point of telling him outright..so if he eats it - I can make a fuss :)

LOL GET USED TO IT...ive rarely brought home food and actually got to eat it myself...My dad was usually to blame but yeah anything in the house is up for grabs.

Haha, I’m actually more prone to do that than FH! He always forgets about leftovers and I don’t…several times he would be like “Where’s the leftover chicken” and I would have to tell him that I ate it about a WEEK AGO.

I'm sorry he ate your food but it does happen. In our house it's usually me who eats the food. FH knows that if he we go out to eat the food that comes home is for me. He even asks me if I took the left overs for lunch the next day b/c he knows I like to take them to work.

yup.. i always make sure i tell FH 'hands off that's mine'.. this way he can expect to hear my mouth about it if he eats it..lmao! luckily though since i'm on WW again he doesn't want anything to do with most of the food i'm eating.. so that helps...lmaoo
sure fire way to keep a man out of your food.. eat healthy..

I am guilty of it too...unless they said to please not eat it or they say oh im saving for this tomorrow cant wait. Otherwise if its just like eh ok wrap it up ill take it home and im hungry im eating it.

yep... my parents do it... my FH does it...
and we dotn live together...
we will go out adn i will wrap up my food.. hrs later hes in the fridge eating it!!!!! and then im liek umm im hungry.. hes like do you want and apple!? and im liek UM NO!? i want the food i just brought home... hes liek umm i ate it!?@$!@#

Oh, I've learned to leave a note...and give him a call during the day...just to make sure it's still there when I get home!!! Of course, sometimes I'll forget...in which case...yeah, it's definitely gone. ESPECIALLY if it was something I'm dreaming about all day, then, FORGET IT! it's definitely gone!!!

Yeah. That's basically the way it goes. You have to make it a point to say that you don't want him to eat it and then hope for the best.
My FH will nibble until it's all gone, so I've learned that if it's something I really really want, I better eat it before he realizes it's in the fridge.

okay UPDATE.. so u know i had to ask fh where my chicken was.. yeah im pmsing.. so it's a big deal..
he tells me.. boy i love this man.. that he asked me if he could have this morning when i was sleeping and i said okay take out the trash.

but here's the cute part.. its in his fridge at work, and he offered to bring it back home and get something else.. eww.. i dont want it no more after its been sitting in some community fridge all day. who knows if the nerdy guy at work or the lady with the 10 cats has looked in it or breathed on it..
