We want to rent some lounge furniture for our CH.

We were quoted $475 (no tax, no delivery fee if we pay cash) for the setup below (four quarter-circle 'sofas' and the little square table in the middle ... we can obviously set it up any way we want) ... note that the wedding is during the day and outside so the lighting won't really show.

is that a good price for it? It seems like soooo much money to spend on an hour of use!

what do you guys think? worth it or not?

Unfortunately I think its actually a good quote BUT think it may not be worth it unless you are married to the idea. If the furniture is really what makes you feel like your venue is different, it may be worth it though.

I planned my company holidays party and we rented chairs and booths and paid close to $5K but that was also with 500 pp and 6 hours of usage...

maybe i can convince FH to use this 'saved' money towards a photobooth lol (he loved the one at the expo last night but didn't want to spend the money which i agree with)

i think a photobooth would be a lot more enjoyable both for you and the guests!
