LAST SUMMER, MY FIANCE AND I WENT TO A FAMILY FRIEND'S WEDDING (ON HIS SIDE). SINCE THEN I CAN'T GET THE BRIDESMAID DRESSES OUT OF MY HEAD. IS IT OKAY TO GET THE SAME BRIDESMAID DRESSES IN A DIFFERENT COLOR? KNOWONE WILL KNOW BESIDES THE FAMILY FRIEND AND HER PARENTS. WHAT DO YOU LADIES THINK?

I don't see anything wrong with it....and if anything, she should take it as a compliment, one that you love her style, and two that you can't get her wedding outta your head

I don't see anything wrong with it. If I went to a wedding that used the same BM dresses I did I wouldnt care.

I don't think it's wrong- if you love the dress, go for it! And besides, the only person who would probably remember it exactly would be the bride. And it would be a different color. If someone loved my BM dresses enough to want them for their own wedding, I'd be flattered!
You should also check with the designer to make sure they still make the dress- I fell in love with one BM dress last year but didn't order them and now they stopped making them.

the same as a family friend? nah, nothing wrong with that. if it were a family member it might make waves, but i bet the family friends probably wont care.
