Is this wrong?

Is this wrong?

To send all the OOT invites first and then based on how many no's we get back then send people on the B list invites so that we meet the min?
I mean like 2-3 weeks before all the rest of the invites?

i've heard a lot of brides saying NOT to do a LIST B, because people will talk and find out when you sent out what....

but, it seems that you'll only be sending the OOT invited first. in this case, i don't see why not. their invites wouldn't realistically reach them in the same amount of time as a person who lives in the next town as you.

i don't see anything wrong with it

Actually I think this is a great idea.

i don't think so. i mean, lots of people do the whole 'a' list, 'b' list thing. my thought though was always, what if those people don't get back to you in that 2-3 week time period, so you can get the next group out. unless you had 2 rsvp dates; one for each group. then i think it would be fine. i don't think i'm helping any, lol, sorry

Well when I say B list....I mean like people from work or like family friends (people who your not 100% sure you want to invite). Having a B list with our friends is kind of hard..........

I've heard of people doing that...ordering 2 sets of RSVP cards with different dates.

I think its fine, I might actually steal the idea Really all you are trying to do is figure out a number, not necessarily pick and choose even though you do have a B list.

I think it's ok to do but anticipate any problems that might arise and have an explanation ready just incase
Good Luck girly!

Great idea!!! But you might want to consider giving them an earlier RSVP as well. We had people hold on to thier RSVP until the last minute, just to send in a 'NO.' BY then it was too late to send out more invites.

I completely agree. I would be concerned with the last minute responses.
