hmmm well i am compiling my master list for invites....

and i was addressing for example

mr. and mrs. jane and john smith


but fmil and fh say i should just address
mr. and mrs. john smith.

which is the proper way?? ty!!

if they're married, it's the man's name. but for my unmarried friends, whoever is the friend vs the 'date' goes first. for example, my MOH:

Ms. S and Mr. boyfriend.
