My favorite day of the year...not!!

I have to walk literally 3 blocks out of the way to my train on that day!

This year I'll take the subway. I normally don't have to as walking takes 15 mins but I'd rather not be in the middle of the throng of tree people.

It is nice to watch but only way you can see it is if 1) you are a family member of NBC employee and get to sit up close or 2) you work or know someone that works in one of the buildings that surrounds the tree. I went once and even though I work 1 block over and got out early just to watch....I was stuck behind a barrier at Radio City music hall!!!!

FH and I are going, but only because it is our 3 year anniversary and we are going to be in the city anyways!

Unfortunately it's tomorrow. Thankfully it's in the evening but sadly I'll be working late.

No not sad cause i wanna see it, but sad cause I work in Rockefeller and it's a *itch to get home when this place gets packed.

I usually make it home for the lightning tho. We used to have this party on the second floor of one of those inner buildings so we could see it really close, but be warm and comfy inside. No more of that. So Im stuck seeing it at home.

I used to work in one of those buildings and our office would make a party for our families. Otherwise I probably would never see it live.

We were in the W.P. Carey offices. They do business with my husband's company so his whole office (and guests) were invited.

No, I worked for a small investment firm in the 620 Fifth Avenue building. They aren't there anymore though.

yay i'm excited, this year will be my first seeing it. we got vip tix from a friend of the family. we're going to freeze our butts off though!
