My mom has a gorgeous gown, strapless. Shouldn't she go watchless? What do you think? I'm thinking in terms of pictures.

Re: Is you mom wearing a watch with strapless dress?
I always wear a watch, it drives me nuts not to have one. I really don't think it's all that big of a deal, style-wise. It's not that hard to find a nicer looking one that is bracelet-like, if it bothers you to look at a regular everyday one.

I have a strapless gown and I'm wearing a watch. My mother got this beautiful vintage watch when she was 16 and I have always admired it. She was having it fixed and a pretty band put on it for me. It's my something old, and something borrowed. Unless it's a present, then it's just my something old.
Depending on the watch, it could look like no more than a decorative bracelet. I wouldn't worry though, I don't think it's so bad.

She could wear a 'jewerly' watch. They make some pretty one.
If you are crafty you could make one also. Michael's has watch faces and you make the rest with nice beads.

If she wants to wear a watch, it is fine---there are so many bracelet type/dress up ones as everyone said.
I even wore a watch, it was a Gucci bracelet watch I got from HS graduation worn with a diamond bezel--I think it looked nice and coordinated well.

I don't think it really matters. I don't know if my mom is wearing a watch, honestly I don't really care either way.
