Is your brother close w/your FH?

For those of you that have brothers, are you brother and FH friends? Do they ever hang out w/out you? I guess I can't expect much from my brother when he is an unfriendly person.

Well my bro and FH arent SUPER close but they get along....they dont hang out or anything...but I wouldnt say they have a horrible relationship..

Why is ur brother so unfriendly??

FH and I live in CT, but I am from LI and that is where my entire family is. Whenever we see the family my brother and FH are like inseparable. FH actually gangs up on me sometimes with my bro and picks on me like when I was little haha .. It's kinda cute .. sometimes

Who knows, he is just opposite of me. He and FH both have golf in common so once I hinted that they should play together and my brother changed the subject. That's rude!

Yes, that is very rude....maybe you should play golf with the both of them...like, you shouldnt have them play golf just the two of them...perhaps throw yourself in there to so there is a mutual person to talk to. See how that goes and maybe eventually they will hit it off and become pals..

Ah! Well that def. maks a huge difference. Just see where life takes you...I guess you cant really push it since you arent close to him either...but you never know they might just hit it off one day..

My younger brother and FH get along VERY well, but my FH is in his 30s and my younger brother is 15 So the only time they hang out is when FH and I take my brother to the movies or other stuff like that.

My older brother and FH are very close in age and they get along when we get together for the holidays, birthdays, etc. But they don't hang out - I guess it just has to do with our personal schedules etc.

But I think it's fine that they don't hang out all the time. It would be nice if they did, but it's not NECESSARY, you know what I mean? So long as they get along, that's fine by me.

Well, my brothers are 21 and 16 and FH is 34 but they still get along really well. The all have the same sense of humor and FH fits in perfectly with my family.

I have a smiliar situation..my brothers are 18 and 22 and FH is 30...but he gets along great with them, especially the 22 year old (Not sure if that is a good thing

I'm really glad that FH fits in so well with my family.

same here! but my brother and I are not super close, we're closer now then we ever were but again, not real close. My brother is not in my wedding party. Is that weird? We only have 2 people each:my maid and matron of honor and he has BM and groomsman; i didnt think it would be right to make fh choose my brother over his closer friends.

My brother and FH actually get along really well. My bro even gets along with FH's brother which is great when we all hang out.
I remember my bro being the typical older brother at first, but FH is just the nicest, most respectful guy I've ever dated, so it wasn't long for my brother to realize that. He's in the wedding party, too.

My DH and younger brother are Very Close.
They are only a year apart.
DH is 27 and brother is 26.
They Always Hang out every Saturday afternoon.
I Love that my brother can go to DH with issues. It makes me feel Good.

No.
I can honestly say they hardly know one another! They talk whenever we get together-- but superficial stuff. They have nothing in common.
