Is your DJ giving out 'favors'

Just wondering if it is more fun or more tacky?

PS- I mean favors like leis and top hats, etc.

we did it - and i don't think it was cheesy at all. the DJ gave out sunglasses, glowsticks and a few other things. it made for some great pics at the reception. we have a pic of all the groosmen wearing the sunglasses - it's a great pic.

P.S. - the one 'favor' i didn't want was anything inflatable (guitars, etc).

ETA - our guests loved it!!!!!!!!

We said we definitely did not want them. I have been to many weddings that had them and they were fun, but we didn't feel favors were for us. I agree with others who say it kinda reminds them of a bar-mitzfah or sweet 16. JMO

I dont think there is anything wrong with it, but I am not doing it. It reminds me of a Sweet Sixteen. But if you like it, do it!!!

we get them with our package, but I think I am going to ask them to give them out only to the children- not to the entire crowd, because I HATE that- to me it is tacky
