Re: is your FH domestic?
I wish! He's a little piggy. He was in the Marines so I KNOW he can fold clothes and make the bed, but he just doesn't like to. He tries to sweet talk his way out of cleaning, the little stinker. He will do things though if I ask him so that's good enough for me. He tries to cook every now and then on the grill that he got last Christmas as a gift. He's not bad at it either!

Re: is your FH domestic?
Mine has been learning. He has no ability to cook so I'm not about to ask him to try! He can clean though, when asked, and can do laundry (following the instructions I had to post over the washing machine/dryer)!!!!

Re: is your FH domestic?
He was a chef for many years so he has the cooking part down. Cleaning is another story. He does ok with the laundry he gets it sorted washed and dried but I have to fold.

Re: is your FH domestic?
My husband is very domesticated!! I call him Mr. Clean. He is very neat and does almost all of the cleaning. He does not cook, but as long as he is cleaning I will gladly cook!!

Re: is your FH domestic?
He lived by himself before me so he cooks, cleans, does laundry, gardens, the whole nine yards. He is an amazing landscaper..he has built rock walls around his flower beds and created a lily of the valley garden for me. He is also an incredible cook. And I am a tough critic having worked at a culinary school. He is better than most chefs that I have met! I always joke with my friends that I am getting an incredible wife!

Re: is your FH domestic?
Yeah, FH is pretty domestic. He can cook, clean and fix things and he gardens and stuff. His dad injured his back quite a few years ago and is out on disability. FH has to do a lot around the house since his dad can't do it. This has made him pretty self-sufficient. He can also do laundry, but since I LOVE laundry and ironing, I will do ours. I do ours whenever we come back from vacation (we each live with our parents, so laundry is usually separate)
He's good. I think I will keep him
Funny side note: went to Fortunoff's to register last night and FH and I knew we wanted a Kitchen-Aid stand mixer. well, I made the mistake of leaving FH with the scanner while I went to look for something. When we printed out the registry, I had every attachment Kitchen-Aid made

Re: is your FH domestic?
yup! he cooks, cleans, does laundry (even knows which of my clothes should not in the dryer, though that took a while for him to grasp ).
We pretty much share all the household responsibilities, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
he also has a lot to say about what furniture and appliances we get, but decorating is really left to me.

Re: is your FH domestic?
FH is domestic - he cleans, irons, does laundry...rarely cooks. We've picked out furniture together but I do the decorating. He's tried to decorate, but I have to switch it up when he's not looking.

Yes thank god!!! Although I am, it is still nice to know that I will not be a personal servant.
