Is your FH going to wear a wedding ring?

My FH is not a jewelry guy at all, so he was not thrilled about having to wear a wedding ring, but he's going to wear one (I managed to talk him into it by finding a very masculine, titanium ring ). Anyone else's FH not going to wear a ring? Just curious - and not at all in the mood to work today.

Yes.. hes getting a sporty one .. Carbon fiber and white gold I believe

Yes... he is actually really excited to wear his ring because he picked one out wiht lots of bling and wants to show it off!

FH is looking forward to wearing one. He is actually getting 2. One for work and one for regular life. His regular ring even has diamonds in it.. I was surprised he wanted diamonds - not that there's anything wrong with guys wearing diamonds.. but he just doesn't seem like the type that cares.

It's nice that he wants to wear it though.. so that makes me happy.

I am sorry FH isn't really into wearing his ring. You should show him this entire post later to see how many guys are going to wear their rings. Ha ha ha!

At first he wanted a simple band no frills or bells. Then we go shopping and he picks out the most blinged out rings in the store lol ...I think I will buy him an everyday white gold or titanium ring that he can beat up and then a fancy one with diamonds that he saves for special occasions

FH mentioned not wanting to wear his because he doesn't wear jewelery....and seriously, I started bawling.

I'm not a crier but I was SO hurt and it was my immediate reaction....he felt horrible and promised to always wear it and never take it off. He never wanted to make me cry like that again.

He's too cute.

FH doesn't wear ANY jewelry either so it's gonna be weird for him... but he got a plain manly stainless steel one lol and he is wearing that ****!!! hahaha. He wants to though, he thinks it's important.

he's not sure if he's going to wear it all the time yet. He wants a very plain band (he's not a 'bling' guy.') but said since he never wears any kind of jewelry he might not like wearing it. I told him that's fine if he doesn't want to wear it - I'll just have 'I'M MARRIED' in big red letters tattooed on his forehead!

lol mine has been wearing a surgical steel version I got him at work all week to 'get used to it'...He will probably get a simple white gold band, but wear it on a chain around his neck mostly because he is in construction and it's dangerous to wear the ring.

No because he can't. He's an engineer and it can either electrocute him or get caught in a machine. He'll have one to wear out and I think he wants to get a wedding band tattoo.

My fh has webbed fingers so he says it's uncomfortable for him to wear a ring. But he promises to wear it when we go out and special occasions. He was also considering getting a tattoo band but we'll see.

no he more than likely wont. He cant for work because forget it, he gets one thing on it, the ring has to be tossed into a hazmat bag and thats the end of it.

For the ceremony, he's getting my Dad's claddagh ring (he passed away when I was younger) and that will be his actual wedding ring. ANd to be honest, i'd be happy with him NOT wearing the ring. It would break my heart if something happened to it.
