Is your FI invited to the Bridal Shower?

Only women are invited to my bridal shower so my FI wasn't planning on being at the shower. My MOH, however, thinks he should be there. What do you think??

I think no... the bridal shower I went to this weekend, the FH dropped her off, gave his waves hello and then came after with a few guys (inc. my own FH) to help load up the gifts...

My FH will not be at my shower.... he will probably show his face in the beginning (depending on how they're getting me there) and then at the end!!

My FI dropped me off and then came to our house to unload all the gifts!! I wanted him to stay...but with all those woman...he didn't walk...he ran out!!

I think it's nice if wants to stay...it's really your choice, but I think only if you do a Jack and Jill type shower...If it's just women, he may feel out of place...JMO

For the ones I've been to, depending on how they get the bride there the FH drops her off and then comes later to say hello and help with the gifts. Usually the fathers are there or any brothers too!

He wasnt supposed to but when he dropped me off I didnt want him to leave. And it went so well. He had a great time and everyone was happy he and my brother stayed.

At my shower, my DH & his friend, my dad, bro & uncle stayed for lunch ... then beat it. My mom had to gaurantee a min that she did not meet & rather than pay for meals that wouldn't be eaten, she asked them to stay. It was all news to me, but it worked out fine. They all came back later to help w/the loading up!

At my shower FH & my dad stayed but they stayed at the bar,, ate & drank there and peeked in from time to time, i loved it!

my fh was there when I got there, and he stayed for a bit, then came back at the end. I loved it!

All of the showers I have been to, the FI is there at the beginning then leaves and comes back in time to help with the gifts.

i hope not.... it would be torture for him - he hates it when it's a 'woman thing'

My husband walked in with me and then came back towards the end with my brothers to help with the gifts.

Thanks ladies, this has made my decision much easier. I think I'll just have my FI drop me off, say hello to everyone and then pick me up later. I think being there with all the ladies might be too much for him.

The wedding would of been off if my DH had to attend my shower.

mine dropped me off and came back to collect me and the presents.

My sister wanted him to be at the shower but at the last minute he had an emergency trip and he had to leave to FL. My sister was sooo mad but she got over it. I didn't see the reason why he had to be there but I would of loved for him to pick me up.

No he will come in and say hello and leave....he doesn't like the girly things!!!!!

my family usually does something for the guys while the shower is going on - usually a BBQ. then the guys come and help load everything up.

I would say he should drop you off and than come back to pick up all of your gifts but I think a bridal shower should just be all girls. Its really what you want though.
