Is your florist supplying your votive candles?

When I went to the florist they said they do not supply the votive candles (the glass and candle) that I wanted to go around the centerpiece. Who does? I was under the impression that the florist did. Does anyone know where I can buy them cheap or maybe rent them (sounds silly)? Thanks in advance!!

Mine does (Jack and Rose). You can get the votives from Michaels and the candles from there also. I got them to do candle place cards and they were one sale 3 for $1. The candles are 100 of them (no scent) for $5.00 Good Luck

www.cudge.net has 72 candles AND holders for $37, and they're in the city, so you cn pick them up and save on shipping.

Our hall is doing the votives, you might want to check with them about it. I know when I work at Southward Ho CC, they usually put out the votives also.

They also have votives and other candles at the 99 cent store around...I bought 24 round pearlized candles (not even sure if I am using them!!!) at one in Baldwin...

I bought them from Michaels just like Marcella mentioned. When they had the sale I got the candles and holders to put out on the tables. They have a few different styles and they were all 3 for $1.

Good Luck!

My hall is providing the votives. Did you inquire with them first?

I would also suggest Michael's - especially when they run sales.

A votive is a small candle, the next standard size up rom a tea light. They are often on tables in restaurants.
A lot of people use them around their cenrterpiecs.
There are probably some pictures on the centerpieces/flower threads.

UPDATE: I just called Flowerfield and they told me they have a thousand votives. It is one of their amenities. I am soo happy. They said they put 3-5 candles on the ballroom tables and on the windowsill (sp) of the ballroom and then on the cocktail tables. Then they have pillar candles around the Koi pond. Thanks anyway girls. At least I saved some money!!
