it absolutely is. We're spending a fortune on it and I want to be protected if God forbid something happens.

Re: Is Your Honeymoon Insured?
IMO -So important to have honeymoon insurance. It's really not that much more, i think it was like 200 bucks. God forbid there is a hurricane, a death in the family, who knows what, you will be able to cancel and reschedule with no problem. We are spending SO much on the honeymoon it seemed crazy not to do it!

Agreed. It's not very expensive to insure a HM, but it's totally worth it if you need to pull out in the end.

Re: Is Your Honeymoon Insured?
I debated insuring my trip. We're spending a lot of money on it but the cruise wanted $500 per person to ensure it so we opted not to.

I didn't even consider it... I don't think that we will... We are not spending a lot of money on it. Also, we are not going anywhere that will be affected by natural disasters (hopefully) which is good.

We did, it was 100pp extra. Normally I would not get insurance, but felt for an extra $200 with our luck it was worth it.

Re: Is Your Honeymoon Insured?
yes our was. The year before we got married we had booked a cruise without insurance, I got the worst virus two days before, and was so weak I could hardly walk. I called the cruise line and they would not let us rebook or give us money back, so I had to travel so sick, I didn't even enjoy the first 4 days of the cruise. So for our honeymoon I definitely insured it. Our insurance was 60 dollars per person.

its so worth it. I was a travel agent up until a few weeks ago, and i know more than anyone how important it is. It ussually isnt too expensive compared to the price of the trip. I would def get it!! with travel agents you ussually have up until final payment to get it. if you booked on your own try travel guard or berkley care.

Re: Is Your Honeymoon Insured?
Ours isn't but we're going on a cruise...which they pretty much never cancel. If the weather is bad in one port they will divert to another.

Re: Is Your Honeymoon Insured?
I think you should. Fh and I were suppose to go to Mexico this summer. Fh got laid off and we don't have the money to spend on that anymore. The Insurance got us our $1400 in airline credit that would have been lost. I totally think it is worth the piece of mind. I got a plan that I could cancel for any reason.

insurance isnt just for cancellations... look into what else the insurance covers, i know some cover lost luggage... for that alone i think its worth it.. JMO
