i know my company sometimes does it, but i've never actually been invited to other peoples' ... so i have no clue if i'll get a work-shower or not. time will tell, i suppose lol

I doubt it...i would be really shocked if they did! I mean, i'd love it obviously, but i really really dont expect them too. They only really tend to do 'party' kinda things for the admin (aka. higher up) people...

At this point i am pretty new but by the time i get married i would have been here 1 year ( exactly. I got hired on my wedding date) so i think they will. We are always having parties around here for 1 reason or another and i have been donating.

I highly doubt it. Although we have several women on our floor. There are 3 of us on my team and I'm the only female, so I don't think that will even cross their minds.

our small unit always throws bdays, baby and bridal showers, even for the guys. I'm assuming I will have something as well!
