i know my company sometimes does it, but i've never actually been invited to other peoples' ... so i have no clue if i'll get a work-shower or not. time will tell, i suppose lol

Absolutely not. I work with the dreaded In Laws (family business). Besides the family, it's me and this other woman who comes to do the payroll. A shower here is out of the question. Plus I hate being here, so it would totally suuck anyway.

mine ususally throws showers... the last one was a combined baby shower since the girls were both due within 2 weeks of each other.
if they throw a shower it might be combined with a girl from another dept since she is getting married the month after me.

2011er crashin to say they'd better! FH and I work together and we've given money to so many baby showers, get well presents, wedding showers, etc in the past three years here.
GIMME WHAT I'M DUE!!! lol.
fyi: the last girl who got her shower recieved almost a thousand bucks. She left the company right after she got married.

i said yes, but they pretty much pass around a card and if people want they will put a couple of bucks in it. then they sometimes bring in some goodies. FH and I both work at the same place, but in different groups. his group does it nicer, but our groups are related so i guess we will see what happens!

mine did. they decorated my cube, got me lil gifts and an american express gift card. they also got me a cake and played wedding music lol. oh and toilet papered my car!!!

I work for a family, a mother, 2 sons and another non-family member...
I think my dance studio(s) MIGHT throw me one... but I'm not sure.
