Is your photographer taking pictures of you in your Lingerie

Figured I'd put this as a poll, since some may not want to answer it openly!

no, I did not want any underwear shots. although the boudoir (sp?) thing is very big nowadays.

Mine did...there was nothing to see...I was pretty well covered up. my bra took up so much space, it looked like a shirt and many people didn't realize i was only wearing a bra and jeans that morning! they are tasteful shots and they were not put up for our guests to view on the web link. i had my dress up to my waist before i slid off the jeans.

they are more for me, dh and like my mom to recall the getting ready portion of the morning.

eta-the photographer informed me in advance that he would be in the room when i got dressed and if i was uncomfortable, he would plan to be elsewhere.

I am having cups sewn into my dress. Therefore, there will be no picture taking of me getting dressed.

I am too......but I bought something to wear just for these shots. I am in better shape now than I was when I was 21, so figured I might as well remember the day in its entirety!

I haven't decided yet. FH would LOVE IT. He even wants to take risque engagement pictures, the pig! It's not that I'm uncomfortable with taking them, but I'm not sure what I'd do with them. Although reading the post above about how they're for her, FH and the mom - that sounded nice, so I probably will go for it.

I saw some really classy ones posted last year in black and white by my photographer, I'm totally into it. It was totally classy and not at all raunchy.

that's not my style. . .i am pretty prudish when it comes to certain things

not to mention - i dont know how it will be in your house - but in my house for weddings theres like at least 50 relatives walking around - not exactly the atmosphere i want for sexy pics!

plus i am going to have cups sewn in so maybe i will just do one or two like pretending to put the dress on but its already on. . .

i hope he gets lots of leg and garter shots though!!!

I'll be at a hotel and there will probably only be my mom...I might have her go to my sisters room though

i did not do the 'getting dressed' pics. it was too hectic for me that day. when we went for the final meeting with the photographers they asked us what i preferred and i said no getting dressed or half-dressed pics.

I decided against it but my sister did get some cool black & white ones (I didn't realize she was taking them)

I had cups sewn in too, but I was wearing a bra that day anyway already, so I kept that on until the dress was up to my chest, and just slipped the bra off while I held the top of the dress up in front of me!! I kept my pants on until the dress was on, then unzipped them and shook them down a little, then my sister went under and yanked them off! I am modest, but did want shots of getting dressed.

My photographer was a woman, and it was just women in the room, so it was okay, I was comfortable--I hope the pictures come out cool. My SIL took really excellent photos then too, but got one where my bra is fully showing and the dress is up to my waist, so we take that out of the album before others look at it!

Do what makes you most comfortable, you don't want to regret anything either way!
