island harvest/ red cross

November 18th I will be camped outside Ivarone in Wantagh collecting food, turkey'
s & trimmings, turkey coupons, and monetary donations for Island Harvest. These donations will allow Long Island families, from infant to elder, to enjoy a warm holiday meal regardless of economic circumstance. Due to the recent events Island Harvest will also be contributing these donations to those serviced by the Red Cross as well. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in your own backyard.....Come watch us freeze our butts off from 9-5 and bring some canned goods, turkeys or good old fashioned cash....Every bit helps!!!!!! We also scored a donated turkey costume so bring the little ones.....who says no to that :)!?

I also have a bunch of toiletry items from my friends in ct that donated that I haven't had a chance to drop off yet, will you take those too?

we actually dont. we only accept monetary and non perishable food items bc it is a food pantry.
