Isn't it crazy...

...how many people will get engaged after us and get married before us?! Believe me, I'm happy we're having a long engagement because we needed the time to save and for FH to finish his MBA, but I can't help from letting it bother me when I see friends get engaged after us and get married before us! Like one of our friends is planning to proposed to his GF in April on vacation... and it's very possible that they'll get married before us! I know we're waiting for a reason but it's still so frustrating! I wanna get married! lol Of course then I remember the reasons why we're doing it and how great it's been being able to take our time and book the vendors we wanna book but then this little tiny voice inside is like 'I SHOULD GET MARRIED FIRST!!!'

Anybody else feel this pang of jealousy?

I definitely get jealous!! A girl I used to work with just set her date for November 2015 and she got engaged months after me and I'm like *** you get to have your day first and I keep thinking maybe I should've had a Fall 2015 wedding, but then I come back down to Earth and realize we're going to be saving money so we can HOPEFULLY buy a house, & I wanted a spring wedding so then I'm kind of okay with it lol

I do this with all my friends who get engaged after us and married before us, but I think they're crazy for doing that anyway and we'll have a better marriage....or that's how I cope at least. >:)

YES! Totally get this! Someone I know got engaged the end of October and is getting married Aug 2015 but whatever! It will all be worth it in the end plus you only get married once so you gotta make sure to do it right ;)

When I find out people who are getting married in 2015 who just got engaged my first thought is these two years are going to take forever. But then I think how less stressful it'll be taking time qith planning and saving up and am happy about my decision!

one of my good friends just got engaged last month and is getting married spring 2016, were fall 2016, i know its not that big of a deal but it kills me! but just like everyone else said, were doing this for a reason and its the RIGHT REASON. were saving money, were saving stress, and were enjoying every minute of it. lets keep our eyes on the prize ladies :)

Crashing! I've had 2 friends get engaged after us and are getting married before us. I really don't mind it though I haven't been to many weddings and take it as a learning experience. I would be more upset sitting through a wedding knowing that mine is over and I won't ever get to relieve my day again.

Yup I hate it. My cousin isn't even engaged yet but is already talking about her fall 2015 wedding lol. Sometimes I really do wish we would've made the wedding sooner but then I remember all the reasons we decided to wait
