Isn't it scary?

Isn't it scary?

Every time I think I've found the right bridal store, someone writes something bad about them. Feel like I don't know what place to choose. Afraid I'll make the wrong decision and regret it on my wedding day.

Anyone else feel this way?

yes but I try not to make everyone opinions come in the way of me buying something. People have different opinions and experineces. It shouldnt affect you too much unless you see too many negative things about the store and have felt a bad vibe when you actually went there yourself.

Of course. If I see one or two negative remarks I usually ignore it b/c someone is bound to have a bad experience, hopefully its not me! But if I see like 100 bad things, then I definitely take that into consideration.

I agree! Also, this website is great to find out how people feel about certain places, but you cant go by what people say on here alone. You might end up liking one place that someone else hated. Also, see if you find other reviews on the internet for these places. There's no law that says you have to go to one bridal salon and you're committed to it. Go where you want and judge for yourself if you feel its not place for you, then go elsewhere!

This is true. I had originally wanted to go to Paradise Bridal in Patchogue since they have such a large selection of plus size dresses etc, but I have seen a lot of negative reviews on them. It stinks because they carry all the designers I want etc. I've heard they have poor customer service so I don't even want to go there to just try stuff on. Guess I have to go bridal shop hopping.

gonna take a trip in there with my Mom to see that place haha. Also Klienfeld's. She has ALWAYS wanted to go but never did so i'm her excuse now .

Amanda, you can't please everyone so some people are going to have negative things to say regardless. maybe a salesperson looked at a girl the wrong way and that's what she considers bad customer service. Go check it out for yourself.....if it doesn't work out..then oh well! On to the next!

It seems someone has something bad to say about every place and someone has something good to say about every place. I think you just have to go with your gut instinct about a place.

I'm going there next Saturday. I've read sooo much about them on line, good and bad, but whatever. I have to see for myself.

I take everything with a grain of salt. The reviews are really helpful but I don't let them pursuade me 100%. Somebody is going to always have something to say. i'm sure u will pick great vendors!

This place is that big? Maybe I'll have to check it out. Want to check out that HUGE paper store that everyone talks about. Looking for card stock that I haven't been able to find anywhere. I'm sure if it exists, it'll be there.

I'm going to go to whomever has the dress I want... The one thing I'm good at is getting what I want from a bad customer service experience. After years of being in the industry I know exactly what to say to make a bad situation a good one. So I'm not too worried about bad customer service.

i beleive it's like warehouse size. there used to be Kate's paperie in the city that had extremely unique papers. don't know if it's there anymore. last i knew years ago the roof was collapsing
