I'm freaking about my bridesmaid dress selection. We chose a buttercup yellow and now I think I hate it. I have no idea what type(s) of flowers will look nice with that... I originally wanted pink peonies but my BMs really liked this one simple-styled dress and the pink options didn't mesh well with my ivory gown (one was too pale and the other was too grandma rose).
Has anyone else picked buttercup for their wedding or seen pretty pictures of a buttercup bridal party?!
very pale - it's called 'buttercup' I'm just starting to use this website tonight so I don't know if I loaded the pictures correctly but I attempted to add the swatch plate for the company to my profile.

I'm also having peonies in my bouquet.... (white) I think cream roses, something green as a filler like lady's mantle, and maybe a few flowers with yellow centers would look great, and would also complement your flowers and dress perfectly..... (Can you tell we just booked the florist? )
I think it will look great.... don't worry.... go with your first impression.... besides, blush peonies are so pale, they can't clash with anything....

I never heard of lady's mantle, but I just looked it up and you have a very nice suggestion. I just did a google search for yellow bouquets and saw these, cymbidium orchids... but I can't mix those with peonies, right? they're totally different flowers
oh the roses are pretty! thank you for finding them.
don't worry about the girl's gowns - there are so many beautiful ones out there we've come a long way since the 1984 poofy sleeves.
Get your gown then find a bunch that'll compliment it and let them pick from those. I went to Macy's in Manhasset, then hung my gown on a dressing room door and we paraded through with every BM dress until we found a style we liked. And i'm glad we did it that way - I picked one at first that was TOO similar to my dress and it looked teribble side-by-side.
Good luck - and let us know what you choose!

I think these flowers are GORGEOUS! I would talk to your florist because I think their is a lot of beautiful things you can do with yellow. Talk to them and let them put together a little sample for you.

Re: ISO emotional support - YELLOW BMs
Does anyone have pictures of pale yellow BMs with multicolored bouquets?

Re: ISO emotional support
lady's mantle is the green fluff in this bouquet...
I really think you could do something similar to this, with a touch of yellow.
The flower doesn't even have to be all yellow, but be like daisies.... then it would match perfectly with the peonies you will have...
Thanks! I also found this on theknot.com Real Weddings section: bridal bouquet of orchids and white peonies. I'm still unsure about what the girls will have...
I would use yellow flowers bc in the pics it will blend in tooo much with the dress, you need colors to contrast. I dont know your other colors, but you can use maybe an orange, ill show you what i mean...Or you can use white, maybe calla liies
