I married myself a mama's boy. We got home from our HM on Monday night and yesterday I told him I would take his laundry with me to my parents to do in their washer/dryer while I was there (our apt has no washer/dryer). He tells me he will take it to his parent's house an dhis mom will do it - and I tell him he better not. So I am cleaning the bathroom and I go to get the laundry together and HE TOOK IT TO HIS PARENTS' HOUSE for HIS MOM TO DO IT!
He is a grown man (27), married and his Mommy is still doing his laundry - what have I gotten myself into?

I don't know man, I am sure there is more to the story - but as far as not having to do his laundry... SWEET!

I'd kill DH if he brought my unmentionables to Mommy's house for her to wash them!

LOL, don't worry! Just laugh it off, I think deep down all men can be momma's boys! Somethimes for guys, habits are hard to break, just let his mother know that you feel bad he brought his laundry over and please let you know if she minds because you told him you would do his laundry. Maybe his mother still wants to do it and feels like thats the least she could do for her little boy who's now married. Maybe it makes her feel useful. Look at it from a different angle.

sounds like you need more clothes! Shopping trip! If he's taking his draws elsewhere - and you need to fill the loads - it seems that's the only option. Tell him to anti-up!

I wish my DH would take our laundry to his moms! For that matter, as long as I'm not doing it, I don't care who does! he's just used to doing it that way. As soon as you guys get a place with a W&D that will change.
Be careful what you wish for!

Re: It is official .......
I understand. Dh brings his suits to his mom and she presses them and his dad brings his shirts to the cleaners. We live in the same apartment building as them - what is going to happen when we move out to the suburbs in September! I already said I wasn't ironing!
