IT POURED!!!
My mom and sister hosted my shower this past Saturday at Novita in Garden City. Everything was FABULOUS. It was a brunch (their brunch food is phenomenal!) and everything worked out perfectly. Got tons of compliments on the food and the atmosphere. My mom had a great experience working with the banquet managers Joe and Joe. They were easy to work with and set everything up smoothly. I definitely recommend checking them out if you are looking for a shower location.
I got tons of amazing presents and gift cards. Our friends and family were so generous and it was wonderful to spend the afternoon with all of the important ladies in my life! My bridal party and mom did the most amazing job with everything. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world!!!
I do want to give one special rave to Beneath the Bow (http://www.etsy.com/shop/BeneathTheBow or search Beneath the Bow on Facebook). Jessica did all of the favors (pumpkin spice cake pops and caramel covered apples.... people would not stop raving about them!), my amazing card box, and 2 huge gift baskets. She is sooooo talented I cannot say enough nice things about her and her work. She custom makes pretty much anything you want and is totally reasonably priced. FM me with any questions or for any additional info. She will be doing my wedding card box and probably favors as well! AMAZING! I will edit the post to include pictures tonight when I get home from work.
