It poured this weekend!!
My shower was on Saturday and my bridesmaids and mother did such a fantastic job. They really thought of every little detail!
It was at Lombardis on the Sound in the upstairs room. It was such a gorgeous view. There was a champagne fountain and a brunch buffet. The omelet station was a big hit.
One bridesmaid made all the centerpieces which were long vases with gorgeous black and pink ostrich feathers. Another bought pink high heel cookies for favors. My mom also purchased favors which were pocketbook holders (the kind you hang from the table) and compact mirrors. There was a beautiful trunk my friend had made which was the 'naughty' wishing well. The prizes for the games were bottles of wine with corset holders. The invitation was so beautifully done, which was also a corset. The napkin holders were diamond rings and there were pink and black feather boas at every chair. They really did such a cute job!!
One gift they gave was little baskets of decorations for every season and holiday. I thought that was so cute, I really love that. Then they also did the underwear poem and the cleaning supply poem, which was great because I just ran out of detergent, lol.
It was such a great day, I really love these girls. I can't believe the wedding is only 53 days away. I leave for a family cruise on Sunday, come back to my bachelorette party in Vegas and then the wedding is just around the corner! So excited!
