It poured yesterday!!
So I had my 'Surprise' shower yesterday in NY and it was everything I could've dreamed of. My mother and MOH did such a great job! It was at one of our local restaurants right on the water and it seriously was the perfect day!
I got SOOO many great gifts, people were so generous. My mom outdid herself. She surprised me with one gift. She had been collecting Christmas ornaments every year since I've been born and gave them to me yesterday. They each had a little note from when she bought it and a description of why she bought that particular ornament (she bought one from my first day from Pre-K and wrote down that I cried everyday leaving). It was so so touching, many tears were shed because of it.
