It poured yesterday!
I had my surprise bridal shower yesterday!! My sister lives in NC but was here this week and I thought she was leaving Sunday. It turns out they tricked me and she wasn't leaving until Monday, and a ride to Tall Grass Golf Course in Shoreham with my mom yesterday to supposedly get golf lessons for my dad as a Christmas gift turned out to be my shower!
It was a brunch and it was perfect. I was overwhelmed by the amazing job they did and how nice and generous everyone was. The decorations were perfect, food was fantastic and they had games. We're all Friend's fanatics, me and the girls in my bridal party can quote all the episodes, we're obsessed with it. So they made a bridal shower game out of the trivia game they play in one of the Friends episodes, they had a few of the same categories as in the show, all the questions were about me and FH and each table would raise a paddle if they knew the answer and at the end the teams with the 2 highest scores got to compete in the lightning round! My FH apparently helped out with some of the answers. It was such a fun and wonderful day! I feel so lucky to know such amazing people. I also got my personalized hangar for my dress, my garter, cake knife and server, and bouquet charm with picture of my late grandparents. I cried when I opened that last gift.
