It POURED yesterday! My shower at ATLANTICA!! **WITH PICS!!**
i cannot believe it, it was one of the best days of my life! My mother and my MOH planned the ENTIRE party and it was incredible! when i was deciding where i wanted to have my wedding, i was choosing between the Atlantica and the Carltun. i LOVE both and my MOH made sure that since i wasn't having my wedding reception at Atlantica, she would have my shower there!!
my MOH really went above and beyond - she had every pick a ticket and i would periodically choose a ticket throughout the party and whoever had the matching number won a prize!
she also had a words scramble where the first one to unscramble the words won a prize and she also had a BINGO game where people got to cross out boxes on their Bingo board based on the presents that i was opening!
then, as a surprise, two of my BM's got together with a GM and my FH and put together this incredible video (all done through IMovie on Mac) where they asked FH questions and video taped them and then i was asked the same questions and we got to see if our answers matched up! it was amazing!
then, all of my BMs got me this charm bracelet and they each came up while i was sitting in the 'bride' chair and gave me a charm to put on it that said something about our relationship. one law school BM got me a gavel and another BM got me a star (in college we used to listen to Galileo by Indigo Girls and the star was from that song). i was so incredibly touched.
i got so many presents - everyone was so generous - it was an amazing day!
the food at Atlantica was DELISH - girls getting married there have nothing to worry about! i LOVE that place! the views are amazing!
