It rained yesterday in Queens!!! with pictures now
I've been getting nervous about when my shower was because I wanted it to be a suprise. I told FH that I was going to start doing my hair and makeup every weekend just in case. We go to the roosevelt field on saturday to get a dress for the shower and FH asked me why I didnt do my hair.. He got me all nervous that it was saturday. So we walk through the mall and they Body Shop was doing a promotion to get your makeup done, so I did it, then we went to the Queens Mall so I can get my eyebrows threaded and I had my hair straightened just because FH freaked me out! I thought I'd be going home to my shower.![]()
But nope, went home and did nothing![]()
So I've had plans with two of my BMs for a while to go look at small halls in Queens where one can have an engagement party. She has been talking about this for about two months... So the three of us go for breakfast, then we go to Dantes, then while we were in the neighborhood we had to stop by Bed bath and beyond... Then onto the second hall.. Riccardos... We walk in, go to the office, and the lady goes, well why don't we look at the rooms and then we'll go over packages... So we do.. I walk into the room and SUPRISE!
They did such a good job. I was in such a daze for a while that I didnt even realize that my mom had everything red and green to go with the wedding theme. My FMIL did so much work. She made the favors, which were candles with mine and FHs initials etched on the candle holders. She mad me a bigger candle holder and she made chocolates.
We played two games.. One was some type of bingo where as I opened gifts they crossed off their boxes.... the other was a game one of my BMs came up with where you gave yourself points based on your answers to dirty questions.. It was really funny with all the old people in the room!
Oh and Rysie (mary) stopped by on her way to the airport! That was such a nice suprise! I was so excited to see you!!
I got so many presents. People were beyond generous and IMO crazy for spending so much. We got our bedding from two of my BMs who also did a bathroom and kitchen basket![]()
My mom bought got us our China. FMIL bought us our everday dishes and a lot of my bakeware I wanted!! I was going to kill my mom though for some of the gag gifts she bought... penis on a rope, penis cookie cuttercoupons.
A BM got me lubricant, a vibrator and a book of positions!. I DID NOT want to open it!![]()
