It's my Birthday and...

My future brother and sister in law are getting married this afternoon. I'm kind of upset about it since their family is pretty much forgetting about my birthday and said they'll celebrate another day.

Would anyone else be upset?

It's my Birthday and...

Personally, I would but I'm a kid when it comes to my birthday. Just pretend you are Molly Ringwald and Jake Ryan is waiting outside for you ;)

It's my Birthday and...

I'd probably be a bit upset but it's not the end of the world. Just make sure they make it up to you lol. FH's grandpa died this year a few days before his birthday and unfortunately they had to have the wake on his birthday. He was really upset about it and refused to celebrate it, but I would have done something for him like a little party if he hadn't insisted so hard that he wanted to forget about his bday this year.

It's completely understandable that you're upset. It's your day! I made sure my wedding date didnt fall on any of my family members birthdays, mostly because I would feel bad taking that away from them.

Be grateful it's a wedding though! At least it's a happy celebration. My Aunt and Uncle actively moved my grandmothers funeral to my birthday this year bc it was the most convenient date for them.

We realized after the fact that our wedding is on 3 members of our friends/families birthdays... we're thinking of having the DJ throw out a happy birthday song during the wedding!

I don't think it's a big deal if you celebrate on another day. Usually when my birthday is on a week day I don't celebrate until the weekend anyway. Have fun today Happy Birthday!

Don't be upset! It's your sister! Happy Birthday and have a beautiful day with your family! Be thankful everyone is there to celebrate. My brother is in Afghanistan and might not be home for my wedding. So, enjoy today because tomorrow it will be a memory.

It's my Birthday and...

I'd be a little upset. If that situation happened I would probably get a birthday cake and play happy birthday. We purposely didn't plan our wedding on one day because it's my grandma's birthday, but found out it's on of our guests 30th birthday. Just make sure they make it up to you and celebrate in style!
