It’s official I am one Mean and Nasty Bridezilla

Throughout all the planning I’ve been so calm, easygoing and cool.

19days left and I have completely and utterly lost it!

Just a few Examples:
1. Point blank told my tux vendor that they WILL get it right the first time. I expect them to have plenty of options for my father large size and my brother’s small size. They (my family) will NOT be coming back for a second fitting you got one chance to get it right. They (the vendor) has been GREAT about it, but I silenced the whole place with my ‘tone’.

2. Went out to eat and a lady said I came in after 3:30pm (lunch) which wasn’t true. I said as much but said “forget it, Jim just pay” I mean we’re talking less than $3, who cares right ? She calls her manager over because Im a “complaining customer” I said no really it’s ok, I don’t care. She actually says to me “Then stop complaining” I don’t’ know why, but I snapped “Look you twisted B!tch Im a bride with less than 3 weeks to her wedding, you wanna see complaining? Get on your knees and kiss my A$$” The two men behind me laughed their butts off and the manager said “We’re sorry we aren’t saying you’re complaining” the lady just stared at me in shock. I realized I had gone too far. The manager sat us at our table and said “congrats by the way” I wanted the ground to swallow me up whole. Jim got a giggle from it. Says I should wear a sign “Don’t mess with me, until after 10/23”

I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I get so icky angry so very quickly these days if it isn’t MY way the WHOLE way. What happened to Compromising Ronie?

I’m all for laying down the law, but normally I get it slide a bit further before breaking out the fangs! As soon as the words fly out of my mouth I want them back. I mean I know I’m angry but not THAT angry geez!!!! I normally NEVER regret speaking out (ask Jannshari) but lately this is getting just slightly embarrassing. Jim even jokes “wait until you get pregnant, whoohoo”!

Dear Lord, this wedding stuff is making me a MONSTER!!! Hide the children!

That is really funny (though not for the waitress I'm sure). I've had that happen to me before too. I'll be really on edge about somethng and then I'll get pissed off and words just start flying out of my mouth before I realize what I'm doing.

I am sorry, but that 2nd story was hysterical. I almost busted out in laughter. It's not funny that you're feeling this way. Shoot, I am still 1 yr and 8 mos from my wedding I I get that way...rarely, but it happens. Just know we're all here when you need to vent. I often need to, and know you gals are here!

We can all only handle so much.
I just have breakdowns around midnight every night.


Fh, on the other hand,who is normally so calm & patient & undersatnding (almost became a therapist, he is so darn patient) but has been on the verge of starting fights with anyonerin his way, if I didn't intervene.

That lunch story was hilarious. I tend to loose it under pressure too. It's normal, you're just under stress and you've had a lot going on lately (I've read your earlier posts... ) I think you need a bubble bath and some relaxation, like that's possible, to calm you down a bit.

It's quite alright to bug out a little with your wedding so close. Well, at least your fellow brides-to-be understand, if no one else does. I feel (a little) bad for the waitress but she was probably having a bad day too so chalk it up to nervous tension and forgive yourself.

It'll almost here and in a few short days you'll be the happy bride!!
