IT'S OFFICIAL, I'M SIGNING OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (VERY LONG)

I can’t believe I’m writing this, it’s truly unbelievable that the planning is all finished and we’re actually getting married on Saturday. It’s like, “hey, what are you doing this weekend?” my reply would be “oh nothing much, just getting MARRIED!!!!!!!!” Ok, so now for my “see ya later”, I don’t like to say good-bye!! Sorry this is long winded but I want to get everything out. Today is my last day at work so I prob won’t be on much til after the HM.

First and foremost, I want to thank Ron and Liz for creating this wonderful site and giving brides a place to come to where we can plan our weddings, swap ideas, discuss everything under the sun, and make a bunch of new friends along the way!!! BIG to the both of you!!!!!! I’m so glad you 2 came up with this idea and congratulations on your 10 years of success!!!

I first signed onto LIW because I wanted to create a wedding website so that all of our guests could be kept up to date on what was going on. I’m very proud of the work I did so I’ll post the link here, feel free to check it out and sign the guest book: www.liweddings.com/weddings/cindyandkevin/ Then one night I decided to click on the lil tab that says “Chat”, now it’s been more than 11,800 posts since and I’m off to tie the knot!!!!!!!!

Before this I didn’t have a lot of experience with talking to people online that I didn’t already know and wasn’t sure how much to share. I’m marrying a divorced man who is 16 years older than me, has a daughter, and we got engaged after dating for only a few months. At first I was afraid that I would hear all kinds of derogatory comments, but I am so happy to say that I was never judged by anyone on this site. From a girl who doesn’t have many friends this truly makes me feel welcome and brings tears to my eyes, good thing I made those cry packs!! LIW, and especially the 06 board, has become like a home for me and all of its members feel like family. There isn’t a better group of people that could’ve come together at this time and I’m so thankful and glad that we found each other!!!! I want to send a special shout-out, and I hope I don’t forget anyone bc you’ve really all been wonderful.

Jess (CaMacho), Tara (BEANS), Carissa (Pigs222Seal), etc: I have so many date twins, there’s too many to name them all. Also, Michelle (shellnroc) and DanaMZ, my weekend twins. I’ve loved taking this journey with you and I’m so happy that our day is upon us. May you all have the best weddings you’ve ever dreamed imaginable and may every wish come true. No rain!!!!!! Enjoy your HMs and we’ll share pics when we all get back, I can’t wait to see and hear about everything!!!!
